Job Description This position supports the Maintenance dept with our mechanical equipment operation. Hours: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
Duties include:
Perform electrical work (limited)
Construction basic framing, drywall repairs, floor repairs, painting
Fabrication basic welding (minor repairs, non-load bearing applications)
Operate warehouse equipment and knowledge of Scissor lift and Boom lift
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of repairing and adjusting conveyor system (such as lace conveyor belts and track conveyor belts, etc.)
Knowledge and ability to use a wide variety of mechanic tools and equipment
Ability to follow-up on tasks, projects and inquiries as needed in a timely and effective manner
Must be able to participate effectively as a team member
Proficient welding skills (mig and arc)
Communicates with Management on all maintenance progress and issues.
Communicates effectively with management and throughout the organization to ensure safe and efficient maintenance activities.
Adheres to safety procedures and general work guidelines
Ability to follow directions
Ability to read instructions
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout
Knowledge of standard practices for tools and equipment of mechanical trade
Knowledge of methods and techniques for welding and fabrication
Must be flexible to work overtime at any given notice
